Family Physicians

Family physicians help manage the day-to-day health of their patients by testing and diagnosing conditions. They are our initial line of defense in managing their patients' healthcare. Family physicians care for families, including children, adults, and the elderly. They do routine checkups and screenings, give you flu and immunization shots, and manage diabetes and other ongoing medical conditions.

Example

The most valuable medical professional for assistance with our pursuit of improved health with AATD awareness will be the family physician. We will have over 200 conditions that will be looked at by the family care physician and potentially treated and prevented by a higher awareness of what we can do to help with AAT! For example, by testing for AATD and finding AATD challenges, we can potentially eliminate the trip to the Allergist when we find out it is not allergies we are dealing with, but rather AATD! Saving families money and multiple office visits is now an option.
